LGFBLook Good...Feel Better™

The Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre is proud to offer Look Good...Feel Better workshops.

Look Good...Feel Better helps female cancer patients in a practical and positive way. Women diagnosed with cancer are often faced with distressing side-effects during treatment, some of which can change appearance and body image. Self-confidence and self-esteem can be at an all time low.

At its workshops, specially trained volunteer beauty professionals take small groups of patients through a 12-step skin care and make-up regime designed to combat the visible side effects of treatment.

Each participant is given a gift of products, donated by the cosmetics industry, which they are shown how to use to best effect.

Morale boosting... increased self confidence...

Ladies attending a workshop forget about their illness and enjoy an afternoon of pampering, fun and laughter. They meet others going through similar experiences and, most importantly, look and feel fabulous when they leave the session.

If this sounds like the tonic that you need, please call the LJMC helpline (020 3826 2555) to put your name down on the waiting list. Someone from the LJMC team will contact you when it's your turn.

Please be patient. As you can imagine, this is a popular service and there is usually a long waiting list.

Look Good...Feel Better is supported by The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Foundation which in turn is supported by most of the national and international cosmetic companies in the UK.
