Pilot testing EORTC Survivorship core questionnaire and disease-specific modules

Development of an EORTC Survivorship questionnaire follows a similar pattern to all other EORTC modules, except that a new ‘core’ set of questions is required; to be supplemented by disease and gender specific questions.

The questionnaires will be suitable for cancer patients who have completed treatment at least one year ago, have no signs of active cancer and are not taking any active anti-cancer treatments.

Many of the questions are already in use in the original core and modules, but others will be new. The process requires many more patients to determine the generic issues that should be included in the core and also the disease-specific issues.
